Twenty Palestinian designers joined forces to bring to life these collections. Under the activities of the Khitan Gaza Project and through the guidance of UNIDO’s consultants, these talented fashion enthusiasts have used their art, creativity, and skills to portray all the mixed feelings of uncertainty, happiness, and hope surrounding their country.

Inspired by their experiences, they have taken their hometown as playground for imagination and made use of their emotions to turn their memories into a means of expression – the pattern of the walls of Palestine, the marks of the waves on the seashore, the tiles of the street, the olive trees, the heritage of knots and embroideries have all been reflected into a different motif, a shape, a colour.

Pulsing energy of the Strip, these fashion designers embody the drive for innovation and the willingness to push their knowledge toward new achievements. Through design, they are a
testament to the meaning of creation, giving back with a special twist that can only be Palestinian.
